Ebony's tragic death this Thursday 8th February, 2018 has ripped many hearts apart. Mine not excluded. I wasn't a fan but I admired her tenacity and boldness to create her own magic in the Ghanaian music space. That space is not for the timid and she made major colossal strides in such a short time.

The Catholic Church which as been depicted in many movies and books as a  religious organisation with many secrets (dark or whichever colour) to hide just opened one of its doors to the social media world. The door leads into the Instagram account for Pope Francis @franciscus ! Imagine that! It must have taken a lot of deliberations and discussions for this to actually happen.

The world of social now gets a glimpse into the 'world' of the revered Pope and his activities. The already verified account has already raked in 285K  followers as at the writing of this post with one photo posted. How's that for influence pardner?

From the time I received the invitation to be part of the MultiChoice Content ShowCase Extravaganza in Mauritius, I was wishing the months to pass by quickly for September to arrive. To create content during the week-long event was definitely something to look forward to.

One thing is certain; you don’t need a visa to go to Mauritius. This fact I knew about way before Prez. Mahama went there to discuss trade matters.  Your passport gets stamped on entry at the customs area.

It was opening night of the MultiChoice Content Showcase Extravaganza and Stonebwoy had just finished his brilliant reggaeton performance .  Chagrined  that he was the only Ghanaian celebrity at the week-long event in Mauritius I nevertheless caught up with him to find out what he thinks of Ghanaian women going onboard the natural hair revolution.

The BET Award Winner looking resplendent in his Gye Nyame emblazoned t-shirt had this to say to all naturalistas.

In certain institutions outside Ghana where reputation is highly regarded, lets take; a student-lecturer relationship  is forbidden. The lecturer can be dismissed because of the relationship. I know of one company in Ghana that has made it forbidden for staff to have amorous relationships. A couple in that company got married and both of them got the sack. In some banks, although its not forbidden they may not put two dating people in the same branch or department. But generally as human beings aren’t we always doing the forbidden? Either because of the excitement of being caught or lack of self-control or the fact that our basal elements gets the better of us. At one point or the other we court with what is forbidden. The consequences of indulging in forbidden acts are often seen over time or occurs instantly. Would you say Tiger Woods did a forbidden act which led to the plunge in his career?
